Narrative

Eligibility determined at intake. People over 18 must have an IDD diagnosis. Placement depends on available funding from DDS. 

Depending on the person's needs, respite services can be offered in their own home, in the community, or in the home of the respite care provider. All care providers are screened and trained by KDC. They must pass background check, driving, and home inspection requirements.
