Family Support Centers offer a variety of activities to support family’s people with disabilities. Whatever the topic you can find support.
Can the person you support live independently?
Are they able to live in their own home or with family?u003cbru003eDo they need assistance with skills like money management, personal organization, and self-advocacy?
Some specific areas of support include:
Parent
Parents sharing experiences, mentoring, and emotional, support for families.
Social Activities
Life Skills and community integration helps foster independent living skills, finding work, and social inclusion
Various Language/Cultural Supports
Including Spanish/Haitian and Cape Verdean among others
Sibling
Siblings of people with disabilities have unique challenges. The network allows them to come together to share their experiences.
Transition Support
