Narrative

Shared Living matches people with developmental disabilities (DD) with non-disabled people and families. People with DD can live and grow in a home-based setting. They experience the everyday activities of family and community life.

Through our Shared Living program, people in the community open their homes. They offer direct support to people with a developmental disability (DD) or autism. Matches are often made based on interests shared by hosts and person. Interests may be hobbies, art and music, sports, or working in community service.
