Narrative

Experience designed for adults 18+ years of age with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Grotonwood offers three-day, one-week and two-week camping sessions for adults with mild to moderate physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities. Each session is designed to meet the specific needs of our campers. We have:

  • needed staff to camper ratios
  • adaptive recreational camp activities
  • appropriate pacing
  • built-in transition times
  • medical oversight
  • option for off-campus trips (restrictions apply)

Camp can serve as a respite for caregivers. 

Day and overnight camps for kids ages 8-17.
