Narrative

The United Arc exists to support people and families as they seek opportunities to obtain the universal goals of community inclusion, ownership of choice, and maximizing independence.

We want all people to achieve the fullest expression of their lives.

Agency with Choice- Home Respite Program

This program supports families by providing a support system for them to have overnight coverage and or weekend in home supports for the parents/guardians to work night shifts or have some time to themselves for a few hours.

Agency with Choice Family Day Program

This contract supports families in allowing their adult child to stay at home. Typical day programs do not meet their specialized needs. AWC Day provides 1:1 and/or 2:1 supports (if needed) for each person to meet goals specific to their needs. This is usually focused on community inclusion and social skill building to expand their social circles.
