Narrative

Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS), the Family Support Center serves our Worcester County families in:

• Auburn
• Boylston
• Holden
• Leicester
• Paxton
• Shrewsbury
• West Boylston 
• Worcester

We provides English and Spanish language information and resources. We give much-needed support in gaining access to the following programs and services:

• In-home support and respite
 
• Adult companion and respite
 
• Administration of FLEX Funding
 
• DESE/DDS wrap-around services
 
• Help with navigating additional services

The Family Support Center also offers a menu of social and recreational activities and educational workshops. Any Thriver can join in our popular programming offered in Central Massachusetts, like: 

• Thrive After School Community (TASC)
• Leadership Experience And Development (LEAD)
• vacation club 
• community field trips to the YMCA
