Narrative

The Forsberg Program is a unique model that helps people with developmental disabilities (DD) to live on their own terms.

  • Offers supports to adults (22+) living independently in the community
  • Covers the following geographic zones
    • North County
    • South Valley
    • Worcester

Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS), this program offers the following services:

  • Rep Payee Services for people needing help with managing social security benefits, including:
    • Financial literacy
    • Money management skill building
    • Bill and utility payments
  • Flexible Funding
    • As-needed financial help with housing and other unexpected expenses that arise. These may pose a risk to an person's ability to continue living on their own
