Narrative

Located in the beautiful Berkshires, the Cadmus Lifesharing Association supports a vibrant community. People of all abilities share their lives together. Through shared living, meaningful activities, and genuine connections, we celebrate diversity. We can build a better world where developmental differences are embraced. Everyone can reach their fullest potential.

Founded in 1989, Cadmus Lifesharing was formed to foster the development of extended family settings.  People are in need of support to maintain their quality of life. They could have living and working situations appropriate to their own abilities and needs. Throughout the years, Cadmus has grown and now has five lifesharing houses and a strong day program.
