Narrative

Advocates' Shared Living Program is a residential option. Shared Living matches a person with a developmental disability (DD) to a Shared Living Provider. Providers may be families, couples or individuals. The match between the supported person and the provider is key to the success of Shared Living.

Providers offer needed support to the person placed in their home. In return, they receive payment, as well as mutual companionship.

Our Respite Options program provides families and other caregivers with temporary relief, allowing a much-needed break from the demands of caregiving.
