Narrative
The Shared Living program with Better Community Living offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Shared Living Providers share their home and social and family life. They help with:
- daily hygiene and routines (ADLs)
- social and community activities
- transportation (rides)
- help with medical appointments
Shared Living Providers are Independent Contractors through BCL. They get a monthly pay, which is tax-free as allowable by applicable laws. The current annual pay range from $27,780 to $30,095. BCL provides program oversight, support and training to each Provider and the people they support.
