Narrative

 It is our goal to create a real home setting. The Oakdale homes and apartments foster family-orientated spaces. We work closely with family members to ensure that the best supports possible are in place for each person's own needs. Our team provides oversight of:

• activities of daily living (ADLs)
• personal finances
• meds management
• employment (work) guidance
• self-care/nutritional awareness

Weekly food shopping trips are set up for each person. Group dinners with planned activities are offered several times a week for both residents and outreach clients. These group gatherings offer chances for relationship building and plain old fun.  Birthdays, holidays, and special events are celebrated as they would be in any family’s home. Our homes are within walking distance of the town center. Public and private transportation is available to people capable of independent travel.
